Workshop “Using drones to architectural surveying”

Timetable: (20th two parts, morning and evening)

10:00 h. lift from the Building Engineering School to the venue of the workshop

11:00 – 13:30 h. Theory

13:30 – 14:00 h. visit to the drone factory

14:00 – 15:00 h. lunch

15:00 – 16:00 h. flight

16:00 – 18:00 h.  Photogrammetry 3D practice


The main objective  of the workshop is to convey the basic knowledge and legal background when flying drones in order to survey buildings, by means of  multi-image photogrammetry (SfM), to obtain the 3D digital model as well as the technical views if the model.

6- visit to the drone factory Dronetools. Cutting-edge models. Developers explanations .

1- Introduction to drones management

4- Building Digital models  (software)

Workshop Venue

Classroom and flying field by Dronetools, civil drones factory . Gelves (Seville)

Participants will be picked up from the Building Engineering School  (university of Sevilla) to go to Gelves by bus.
